Handmade Beach Wedding Bridal Fashion
A beach wedding, like any theme wedding, can give you a chance to express yourself through your design choices. And your aisle style is probably the biggest signal of your personal style.
Here are 5 handmade design ideas for the beach bride, from head to toe:
Think tropical. Tropical flowers, plant life and birds can be an interesting addition to your theme design…and your bridal wear. Here plumeria flowers are the inspiration for these lovely hair pieces. {handmade by www.heartinhawaii.etsy.com}
Light and airy. Formal or casual, a beach wedding often has a “less is more” feel. But that doesn’t mean you necessarily have to go without. Just think lighter, and in theme. This pearl hair piece, for instance, gives you the presence of a tiara, just lighter. {handmade by www.Handwired.etsy.com}
Beyond shells. Mixing shells designs with other beach inspiration, like the water, will give you a fuller wedding design. These freshwater pearls evoke the theme in a subtle way. {handmade by www.WeddingJewels.etsy.com}
Theme floral. For a fuller theme, look to add tropical flowers or beach elements to your bouquet. Here fabric and shells form a “forever bouquet”, that will last beyond your wedding. {handmade by www.hairbowswonderworld.etsy.com}
Don’t forget your feet. Yes, it can be difficult to get heels on the sand. So if you are looking for sandals, make them beachy with an appropriate accessory like this starfish clip. Another alternative is to go barefoot with beautiful jewel “beach sandals”. {handmade by www.ShellScapes.etsy.com}

Handmade Wedding Style Ideas for the Modern Bride
Influenced by current styles and options, modern weddings can be nontraditional, sleek and fashionable. Here are 5 ideas from the Etsy Wedding Team to create a modern style wedding using handmade touches.
Structural Embellishments. In addition putting to embellishments onto a design, modern style also uses embellishments that are part of how the item is made for a very high-end, unique look. For example, in this wedding gown much of the stunning design comes from folds that are part of the dress. {handmade by www.bellinabridal.etsy.com}
New Functions. Modern style takes a fresh look at what we use and how. In this example the ring pillow is transformed into a handmade ring tray that you can use in your home after the ceremony. {handmade by www.dawndalto.etsy.com}
Geometric Patterns. Use them light or bold, either way geometric patterns read very modern. And they are not just for your stationery design, table settings and fabric, such as this purse can have geometric pattern too. {handmade by www.thesocialseam.etsy.com}
Nontraditional Choices. For modern style in your stationery, look for nontraditional layout, font and embellishment choices. Different formats, such as three-dimensional pieces, or different shapes have a modern feel too. {handmade by www.DesignCircus.etsy.com}
Simple, Clean Design. The hallmark of modern design is simplicity. That can mean simple shapes or simple adornment, or both. {handmade by www.tenstoreylovesong.etsy.com}
