Wedding season has begun!! This is an exiting time for the Etsy Wedding Team in that we become extremely busy after a slow ending to the year. Many couples become engaged over the holiday season which marks the beginning of the wedding planning process.
Once you have set your date the next item on the list is to send out Save The Dates! Save The Dates are a great way to let your guests know about your upcoming day so that they can make plans ahead of time to attend your event. Save The Dates are especially important for out of town guests so that they can make travel arrangements in advance. If you have many out of town guests be sure to include your hotel block info with your save the dates so that they can lock in their hotel reservations early.

I think wedding planning money advice is a hot topic. My concern is always for the family dynamics of wedding planning. Sometimes in the name of saving a few dollars, couples create World War Three with their families and by the day of the wedding, the emotional toil and lifelong relationship damage is way worse than saving a few bucks.
